Our Vision Began

In 1996, a group of Rapport Leadership International graduates became interested in the impact leadership courses could have on teens.  Believing that such an endeavor would be a good investment in the leadership of the future, the vision of supporting teen training began.

In 1998, the vision came to fruition when this small group of graduates pooled its resources and sent a teen through the Rapport Teen Leadership Breakthrough Program.  The results were outstandingly positive for both the teen and those close to her.  Because the feedback was so encouraging, the group decided to continue with the program.  Thus, the Recharge Challengers was formed and our mission took shape.

With this newfound vision, our purpose was solidified: to ensure the continued success of the sponsorship of teen participation in the Rapport Teen Leadership Program by hosting fundraising events.

Such fundraisers include the following:
·        The Galactic Recharge Celebration Dinner/Dance
·        The All American Spaghetti Cook-Off
·        The Golf Experience
·        The Harley Davidson Motorcycle Raffle
·        The placement of soda machines at local businesses

With the mission in place, our goal emerged:  to help the youth of tomorrow by increasing the number of teens attending Rapport classes every year.

Thus far, we have been successful.  Since our inception in 1998, we have increased sponsorship every year.  We have sent more than 500 teens through the Rapport Teen Leadership Programs, and we are anticipating more involvement in the future.   Our continued success is the result of our membership’s determination and hard work. We also thank and acknowledge Rapport Leadership International and its trainers and staff, who have supported the program with heart, body and soul.
